
Canvas is the course management system used by òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ. Canvas is available for each course offered at òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ; every student and faculty member has a Canvas account. Faculty are encouraged to incorporate this technology within their courses (whether online, hybrid or traditional face-to-face). Canvas provides faculty with many features and tools to enhance student learning and success, including, but not limited to, posting of syllabi, resources, and grades; establishing discussion boards, journals, and assignments; and communicating with students through email and announcements.
Faculty and students can access their Canvas course sites by clicking on Canvas under the "Faculty & Staff" tab or the "For Students" tab on the òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ website, or by going to imperial.instructure.com.
Course rosters are automatically unloaded into the Canvas course sites. Faculty teaching multiple sections of the same course can merge the sections into a single master course.
